For too long, maktabs, madrasahs, and masjids have relied on paper registers, spreadsheets, and WhatsApp groups to run some of the most important institutions in our communities. Maktab teachers juggle sabak entries and fee chasing by hand — and imams face the same struggle with nikah registrations, ijazah records, and Janāzah certificate keeping and applications, often lost in folders or forgotten drawers. Labbaik exists to change that — not with a generic platform repurposed from somewhere else, but with something built from the ground up for the needs of Islamic schools and mosques worldwide.

Labbaik started at home. Saifullah's wife — an Alimah and maktab teacher — was juggling payments, attendance, and student progress with no proper tools to manage any of it. Saifullah built her an app. Her father, Sheikh Zubair, saw it, and what began as a solution for one teacher became the foundation for an entire maktab. As it grew, it became clear this wasn't just useful for one institution. Now Saifullah and Sheikh Zubair are on a mission to raise the standard of how Islamic education is organised — everywhere.

Sheikh Zubair
A scholar with decades of experience at the heart of Islamic education in the UK. Sheikh Zubair has served as head teacher at Islamic schools across the country, studied in Pakistan, and now serves as an imam and community leader — giving him an unmatched understanding of what maktab and masjid operations truly need. That lived expertise drives every decision at Labbaik.

Saifullah Harding
A software engineer of 10 years, Saifullah has worked at startups such as Chainlink Labs and QuickNode and is endlessly fascinated by emerging technology like blockchain and AI. He channels that experience into building Labbaik — alongside a steady stream of side projects.

Maulana Aazib Akbar
A scholar, reciter, Hafiz, and Qur'an teacher with years in the classroom, Maulana Aazib understands Islamic education from the inside. That grounding shapes how Labbaik is built — and who trusts it.
Labbaik is free to use — every feature included, no tiers, no add-ons. We only collect a small percentage when you take card or BACS Direct Debit payments, so if you're not collecting fees, you're not paying anything.
