Not at all. There is no student cap, no class limit and no monthly fee on the free Safar plan, so a class of twelve and a maktab of six hundred use the same platform.

The Safar plan is free forever — $0 per month, no setup cost, no credit card required, no student cap. Labbaik only earns a graduated platform fee on card payments you collect through Stripe on the platform. It is graduated by monthly card volume, not flat: 1.5% on the first $3,810 a month, 1.0% from $3,810–$10,160 0.75% from $10,160–$25,400 0.5% from $25,400–$63,500 and 0.35% above $63,500. The bands are marginal, so each rate applies only to the portion of volume inside it and your effective rate falls as you grow.

No. Cash and bank transfer payments recorded manually in Labbaik carry no platform fee at any volume. If your institution collects nothing by card, Labbaik costs you nothing.

Yes, and it is your choice. Absorb them and Stripe's processing fee (around 2.9% + 30¢) plus the Labbaik platform fee come out of the collected amount — on a $100 fee you receive about $95.30. No. Funds settle directly into your own organisation's Stripe account. Labbaik never holds, pools or touches your income.

Yes. Siblings are detected automatically by guardian email and a 10% sibling discount is applied without staff intervention. Manual concessions can be set per family for hardship cases.

Yes. Labbaik supports BACS Direct Debit as well as card payments, saved cards and recurring subscriptions — all through Stripe, with automated retries on failures. Cash and bank transfers can also be recorded manually with no platform fee.

Yes. UK institutions get HMRC-compatible payroll built in: salaries, Tax, National Insurance, pensions and student loan deductions are worked out automatically for every member of staff on every run, with payslips generated too. Labbaik handles the numbers — submitting to HMRC still sits with you or your accountant, and full automatic submission is on our roadmap. Outside the UK, a standard payroll covers other countries.

Yes. One-tap donations support Apple Pay and Google Pay, trackable campaigns such as a Ramadan appeal or roof fund with live progress visible to donors, recurring giving, and a donor dashboard. Gift Aid capture for UK donors is coming soon.

Yes. Asatidh get their own dedicated teacher portal, and role access is gated to it — they see only their own classes, registers, progress tracking and reporting tools. Admin controls, fee management and organisation-wide settings are completely out of view and out of reach.

It is one-tap and mobile-first. The register opens on any phone, marks the ustadh present automatically, and sends instant absence alerts to parents by WhatsApp and email.

Progress is tracked across Qa'idah, Tajweed, Quran, Hifz and Alimiyyah — including the full Safar publication curriculum (IS1–6, Duas, Qaidah, Tajwid), Iqra and Noorani Qaidah, and Alimiyyah kitabs such as Bahishti Zewar and Zad ut-Talibeen. Yes. Class sections can be set to adult self-registration with appropriate form fields, and adult learners receive their own progress notifications in the student portal without needing a parent account.

Yes. Separate class sections, schedules, staff access and even separate Stripe accounts can run for boys' and girls' maktabs inside one organisation.

Yes. Connect your organisation's own Zoom account by OAuth and the correct meeting link is attached to each session and shared with students, parents and ticket holders. Yes. Ticketed, free and recurring events include RSVPs, seat capacity, automated reminders and public event pages. Imams can also issue tamper-proof, instantly verifiable Nikah certificates, ijazahs, Jinazah records and Shahada certificates linked permanently to the issuing imam and masjid.

Admins have full access to their own organisation. Teachers see only the classes assigned to them. Parents see only their own children. Nothing is shared between organisations.

Yes. Your institution is the data controller and Labbaik acts as data processor. A DPA is available to every organisation and is signed as part of onboarding — email privacy@uselabbaik.com to request a copy.

Yes. Your records remain yours. Student, attendance and payment data can be exported, and Google Sheets sync is included on the free plan, so you are never locked in.
